It appears that all forms of democracy require organizing. We integrate into organizing efforts, and we experiment with having community organizing as part of the curriculum of Democracy Education. This is a difficult challenge. It requires developing the capacity to understand the feelings and thoughts of others while simultaneously understanding our own.
